This our CREED, but it's not who we are. We are United States Submarine Sailors! We were, and are, members of the elite fighting force of the United States Navy. We are all QUALIFIED IN SUBMARINES.
Included are submariners from the very early boats S, R or earlier, WWII boats, post-war GUPPY boats (DBF), Boomers(SSBN, SSGN), and Fast Attack submariners (SSN). All Qualified in Submarines - from E1 to O10, Retired, short timer, or active duty - it makes no difference.
If you are Qualified in Submarines we want you in United States Submarine Veterans Inc. We have 150+ local Bases (chapters) from Pearl Harbor to Portsmouth, NH and two Internet bases. Our members are from every state in the Union and even other countries.
If you want to learn submarine history from the people who wrote it, tell or hear sea stories from Pre-WWII, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Cold War or right now, USSVI is the place to do it. If you want to find shipmates, plan or attend a boat reunion, eat, drink, or just share a common bond that never goes away, USSVI is the place for you. The Groton Base has three ways of renewing your membership and making donations to several worthy causes listed to the right.
At the Clubhouse. You can continue to renew your membership the old fashion way by stopping by the Club House with cash or a check, made out to U.S. SUBVETS, and give it to the bartender or any Base Officer that might be there. If you choose this way you can also stay and enjoy a bowl of chili and a beer if you want.
U.S Mail. You can use a little technology and fill out and print this Online Dues and Donations Form, then send it into the Club House, with a check, made out to U.S. SUBVETS. This will cost you a stamp but it is easier with our busy lives.
PayPal. Our new PayPal Membership and Donations Page lets you renew your membership for 1 or more years, and make a donation any of our committees.
